Artrovert, office, anagram | Places to Visit in Noida

Places to Visit in Noida – If you are someone who enjoys a blend of Art along with Architecture, Artovert is a project which would intrigue you. Located in Greater Noida, It is a studio project in a peri-urban artist’s colony named Kaladham. The workplace offers installations and an immersive art experience. The studio consists of rugged, large-volume workplaces with a front lawn that has been made accessible for theater-style screenings and discussions. Instead of camouflaging it from those entering the structure, it unravels itself. The architecture of the studio takes into account passive cooling and heating techniques throughout the year.

Institute for Integrated learning in management, morphogenesis

The project is a student housing complex located on the Institute for Integrated Learning in Management’s current campus in Greater Noida, India. The campus was designed to resemble Shahjahanabad, an ancient Delhi neighborhood, with its court, cluster, and street life. The goal was to design a building that would serve as a sociocultural environment for encouraging the intermixing of views in young minds. The street court layout was created by adapting Jane Jacobs’ conception of “eyes on the street”. This project is a good example of a design that illustrates the nexus between context, materials, users, and designs. If you’re an architect who is touring through Noida city, this location is a must-visit.

c-28c / Archohm | Places to Visit in Noida

The studio’s design, which is often characterized as a “design fort,” epitomizes the “crazy and entertaining” design ethos of Archomites. The triangle-shaped land is surrounded by three different types of urban development: the Jama Mosque on one side, industrial factories on the other, and a sizable slum complex on the third. Five unique elements make up the primary structure: concrete, glass, brick, stone, and metal. Each element is further characterized and highlighted by the other elements. Every element was created with concern for the functional, contextual, and climatic demands. As a result of the Archohmites’ many artistic efforts, the workplace area is a dynamic canvas, and the vistas are always transforming. The overall studio space is a journey through the multiple subgenres of architecture and art. To feel the attributes of space, it is a must-visit for any designer.

The Design Village

The Design Village is an interdisciplinary, industry-centric design institute, based out of Noida, New Delhi in India. At TDV, all fields of design come together for essential interdisciplinary interactions. Much like an actual village, the design village is an organic whole where culture is respected and rediscovered. All the essential factors were already there in all the wrong physical circumstances in the Kattha plant that functioned as the framework for the TDV project. An architectural concern has been how to make temporary areas permanent without losing their character. It’s fascinating to observe how monstrous machinery like compressors and boilers have evolved into sculptures and landmarks in space, taking on new meanings unrelated to their original purposes and becoming acquaintances of the students.

Budh International Circuit

On the boundaries of Delhi in Noida is where you will locate the racetrack. It was inaugurated in 2011 and quickly distinguished itself as a premium site by hosting the first Formula One race on the Indian subcontinent. This 5-kilometer racing circuit has a broad array of rapid straight roads, tricky curves, and well-balanced architecture. The track’s setting in a hilly area becomes another attraction. Hermann Tilke, a German racetrack designer, designed it. The topography practically turns the route into a “rollercoaster ride,” making for an exhilarating and difficult circuit. In this setting, the safety notion is quite critical.

Tri-tessellate

One such unique illustration of how the satellite city of Noida is emerging based on industries and manufacturing is The Tri-Tessellate. A cool grey glass structure connected with a combination of blue, grey, and white tones rises from the ground to the clear open sky. It is one of those cities recognized for having the largest planned areas. In the vicinity of an industrial and manufacturing zone is where this structure is situated. Fabrics and their repeating multiplying patterns are associated with the tessellation pattern. The workplaces are made of white and blank to function as a canvas for creativity. Making workplaces seem more welcoming would not only result in improved working conditions and more productivity, but also in a much-needed shift to the background that hasn’t been changed in a decade.

The Hanging residence | Places to Visit in Noida

The Hanging Residence, located in the residential area of Noida, varies from concepts that centered on the previous features of vernacular Indian families and pursues a more contemporary theme. The design aims to infuse liveliness and a cool quotient into the home of the Ladhani family. The simplicity of the exterior with strategically punctured cutouts creates a strong communication between the house and the surroundings, while also maintaining privacy. The whole informal and simplistic ambiance with the amalgamation of spatial elements is the result of the deeply engaging conversations between the designers and client to create a space that reminisces the sentiment of being at home. A visit to this house will be a journey for an architect which unfolds various realms of designing a simple habitat.
