The core of human existence is interwoven with architecture. The two entities share a co-dependent relationship.  The existing historical buildings are concrete evidence of human existence from centuries ago. The architectural mirrors that surround us reflect the inherent creativity of humanity. The convergence of humanity and architecture brought about the genesis of human existence. Architecture has beautifully carved civilizations and fostered human survival, which are the key components of human existence. Humans and architecture have balanced the equation of a harmonious ecosystem, through humane structures. The intangible feeling of human innateness in tangible structures is designated by architecture. Human existence without architecture, is the true definition of a body without a soul. For, the body will utterly remain a function than an emotion. Hence, existence is architecture.

The emotions evoked on perceiving a piece of architecture are measured by the influence of humanness on the structure. The tangible and intangible features of a building are described by the relationship between human existence and architecture in that building. The perfect balance of intangible and intangible qualities in a structure is the result of the harmonious human-architecture interface of that structure. The conclusion of this intimate relationship has given birth to various styles of architecture.

Symbolic Architecture

The most exemplary example of human-based architecture is symbolic architecture. Here, human emotions and feelings are translated into structures and buildings. Their basic ideology is to symbolise various perspectives and cultures through buildings. Symbolic architecture is the best translation of intangible ideas into tangible structures with the same intangible qualities. One of the great examples of such architecture are; The Taj Mahal, the Pyramid of Giza, and various temples, palaces, monuments, and buildings built to commemorate the victory, incidences, communities, cultures, emotions, and various other associated aspects. Deciphering the same idea, the origin of the various regional, indigenous, religious, and other styles of architecture is a typology of symbolic architecture.

The unwavering possibilities of architecture have brought human development and advancement to a very high stage. This continuous evolution of humans and architecture is non-statutory. The versatile nature of both architecture and human existence at all levels is the key ingredient behind the harmony between human life and architecture.

The complete narrative of understanding the deeply-rooted relationship between human existence and architecture will help build a better perspective towards the miserable idea of human existence without architecture. The worst envisioned nightmare is to believe that human existence is possible without architecture. Where the matter of fact is that humanity is not possible without architecture and architecture is not possible without humans. The two entities are bound so tightly, that they are extremely inseparable. Human existence without architecture will be chaotic and convoluted in all dimensions, which will shake the core of human existence causing disruption. With the deciphering of the relationship between human existence and architecture, it is safe to conclude that existence is architecture and architecture is existence.
