Minimalism in architecture has become a trend these days. People who love aesthetics want their space to be minimal and aesthetic, with certain elements. Minimalism isn’t celebrated by everyone in the world; it is content that represents a character. A person who loves minimalism is called a minimalist. They will be more specific with their surroundings; only meaningful stuff should be in the space. Research says that people who are ageing are turning into minimalists by nature, as they don’t want to be surrounded by any mess anymore. It has become a lifestyle. Minimalism covered many industries architecture, attire, footwear, painting, music, dance, art, logo, etc.

A logo is something that represents a brand to everyone. It should be understood by everyone, from people who are PhDs to people who don’t know the alphabet. Logo is a language without any syllabus. Logo design has many types. Not every logo became successful, but after some research, it is proven that logos which is minimal in style reach more people. A minimalist logo is something that holds only certain elements that represent the brand and the idea of the owner, mostly geometric shapes, RGB, or monochromatic colours, which gives a visual treat to the seekers.

Case Study of the Apple Logo
Apple was the most successful brand in the world. These days, if anyone asks for an apple, immediately, at some point, everyone’s mind will think of that biting apple for no reason. The Apple brand was founded by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne on April 1, 1976. But why apples? Is he selling fruits or something?
No.
Many theories were circulating in the internet for why an apple as a logo, but it was a random idea as Steve likes apples to eat.
At first, Apple’s logo was a picture of Newton sitting under an apple tree, which was created by one of its owners, Ronald Wayne. Later, he left the brand, and everything was taken by Steve. Steve likes Apple a lot, and he decided to name his brand an, ‘Apple’. There should be a meaning for every logo, but in the end, it should make people curious about the brand. Steve chose the second option. Apple became popular, but they had many struggles to become one.
After Wayne’s logo, Steve hired Rob Janoff, a graphic designer. His designs were very simple and 2D. It was the start of the Bitten Apple logo. The bite mark was to represent that it was an apple, not a cherry, and to reflect that the brand is about computers (bytes) along with the name. There it started, and the evolution was going on, and in the present, it was only a bitten apple with a silver colour.

Many successful brands have a very simple logo, representing only the name of the brand, a logo, or a geometric shape.The famous Apple logo was the best example, as it was so simple and sleek.

Looking into a popular brand logo, they were very concentrated with the colours, most of them being RGB colours or primary colours, sometimes neutral colours. Because those colours lead to a visual treat and are easily able to reach the audience without any constraint. Colour psychology plays a major role in logo design, according to the typology of the brand. It should attract the consumer as well as the non-consumer. The famous Apple logo, however, has no colours now, but it had colours in it for a few years. Slowly, it all turned black one day now it’s black, silver, or white, the neutral and monochromatic colour supremacy. As these colours incorporate with anything and any colour, people love them the most.
Understandable
The logo should be stable even when it gains attention, and the result should be that it never fails to deliver the message about the brand and the service it provides. The famous Apple logo delivers the message with curiosity why apple? Is it because of Newton? or does Steve have an apple farm, etc.? People created many theories exploring the logo, and the brand became famous.
Versatile
A logo is the identity of a brand, and it plays a major role in society. The logo will be an advertisement, and it will be anywhere from a little tea shop to popular magazines. It should be versatile anywhere and on anything. The Apple logo on computers, phones, and brands gives a premium look, yet it blends with any colour as well. Some people who cannot afford to buy Apple logo stickers are flexing with the logo.
Even if it is a simple logo, a house, or an artwork, the character speaks a lot. How it is represented will reveal the true meaning. Minimalism plays a major role in modern days; it revolves through space and gives hope to a dream with its minimal elements, from rich to middle-class people.
