Well, Well, Well! When it comes to emotional home makeovers, the shows on Netflix know how to get us all longing a little more for a new dream place. The success of the shows, The Dream Home Makeover, Get organized with Home Edit and Tiny House Nation was massive, allowing Netflix to bring Instant Dream Home to the table with a makeover on a strict schedule. Yes! You read that right! A precise schedule of 12 hours!
Instant Dream Home, which landed on Netflix in August 2022, allows the makeover team just 12 hours of tight timing to transform a property into something extremely spectacular for their clients that truly deserve a special makeover to their homes!

The cast of this fantastic TV show includes Danielle Brooks – The Host; Adair Curtis – The Interior designer; Nick Custumpas as the exterior designer; Erik Curtis – the carpenter and Paige Mobley as the Special Project Expert helping the TV show form a solid team leads of 5 to execute projects smoothly.
The First Season of this TV show has eight episodes and here is the synopsis that you need to know: “A team of rapid-fire renovators take calculative risks in making stunning plans to transform from homes of clients from top to bottom in just 12 hours for families that have no idea about the kind of transformation being executed in the house. Though the period of work being executed efficiently is just 12 hours, the team plans the actual renovations for months ahead of time in their warehouse on a 1:1 scale to get it executed correctly on site.

The families whose homes are being transformed are distracted for a day by a relative or a friend leaving them with zero ideas about the happenings in their homes, leaving them in an utter state of shock on their return to their property. The families chosen to transform homes well deserve a makeover of their homes and are the ones that have done all good for the world.
The first episode consists of the makeover of a house for a soon-to-be grandmother with vision loss. The second episode is about helping a couple transform their home into a haven for their five kids using a crane to drop a schoolhouse into their backyard.

A firefighter is the first in his family to own a house and requires help to turn his house into a bungalow to make it a happier place for his mother and his partner is the plot of the third episode. However, the fourth episode has an extremely interesting couple with a family of nine lovely kids who require help with turning their space more spacious and considering a big wrench into redesigning the plan of the house.

The fifth part of this TV show has the team coming up with an ambitious plan to make a couple abided by a stylish, fun-filled backyard wonderland. The sixth episode, however, is one of the most emotional ones with a single mom and a team helping her create more space for the kids. The team is witnessed creating a bathroom out of thin air and revamping the yard with outdoor theatre and flowers.

Adding an art studio, the seventh episode has the crew striving to bring a new look and light to a creative family’s late 1980s house. The last episode consists of renovating a house that has been pending to develop for months after the contractor skipped on renovation, wrapping season one of this TV show.
The interesting storylines of each episode add extra fun and light to the show. Each home is designed to supply efficient spaces and natural light. The colour schemes are chosen extremely wisely throughout the show realizing the impact of colours cast into space. In all the houses the strategy involved was to install fast furniture by creating extremely precise-sized modules in the warehouse of the furniture into sizes such that could be easily transported and fixed like pieces of puzzles in the live space, helping the installation process by extremely fast yet efficient results.
The planning and designing of the space scheduled beyond time allow the plumbing and electrical services to execute faster on the site. This show not just displays the latest technologies and strategies that could be used by designers in the coming time but also exposes us to the new concept of designing and delivering on a tight deadline of a day with creative and aesthetical output! This show is definitely worth the watch!
