This  project  is  about  the  construction  of  a  single-family  house  in  Ribarroja  del  Túria, Valencia. The available plot, of approximately 1.300 m2, has its elevation well above the street level. This condition allows it to enjoy great views towards the river Túria. But on the other hand, it is a great conditioning factor for the future project.

Due  to  this  condition  of  the  land,  a  two-levels  house  is  planned.  The  ground  floor corresponds to secondary uses while on the first floor all the necessary uses are developed. Firstly, there is the main entrance together with an office, a gymnasium, and a  games room as well as a cinema  room. These  uses are  integrated  into  the ground floor/basement. Four bedrooms, four bathrooms, laundry room, kitchen, dining room and living room are integrated in what would correspond to the first floor.

The house is configured in a U-shaped floor plan of approximately 473 m2, in which the large 18-metre central swimming pool is the protagonist. It is designed as a pure and simple  volumetry  clad  in  natural mortar  with  stone  paving  and  exterior  cladding.  The house magnifies this view of the surroundings thanks to the large openings that open out onto an elevated garden.

This detached house in Ribarroja del Túria maximizes the exterior spaces of the plot on which it stands, generating a very intense in-out relationship, further emphasised by the play of natural materials used in the interior of the house, generating calm spaces but with a great deal of personality.

In the interior, natural materials such as wood and stone are the protagonists and give the spaces a warm feeling of home. In addition, the large spaces in combination with the large windows maximise the entry of natural light. In addition, these large openings generate an enrichment of the routes.
