Set within the prestigious DLF Camellias in Gurgaon this 9000 sq. ft. four-bedroom residence has been designed as a contemporary luxury home that balances elegance with everyday functionality. The client’s brief called for a space that felt refined yet comfortable, with a strong preference for gold accents and ample, well-integrated storage solutions to support modern living.

The design responds to this by adopting a restrained yet layered material palette. Expanses of marble, warm neutral tones, and muted pastels establish a calm and cohesive base, while brushed gold accents are thoughtfully introduced across lighting, hardware, and detailing – adding warmth and a subtle sense of opulence without overwhelming the space. Rich textures, soft upholstery and natural finishes further enhance the tactile quality of the interiors.
The living and dining areas are conceived as expansive, interconnected zones that open out to sweeping city views. Within this openness, bespoke furniture pieces and carefully composed seating arrangements create intimate pockets for gathering and relaxation. Sculptural chandeliers and layered lighting lend depth and character, evolving the mood of the space throughout the day.
A key aspect of the design is the seamless integration of storage. Custom-built cabinetry has been thoughtfully incorporated across the home, ensuring that functionality is discreetly embedded within the overall aesthetic. This allows the spaces to remain visually uncluttered while catering to the practical needs of the family.
The master bedroom is envisioned as a private retreat, featuring a canopy bed, warm wood finishes, and soft, enveloping textures. It enhances the sense of comfort and leisure, offering a quiet, hotel-like experience. The children’s bedrooms introduce a lighter, more playful palette through pastel tones and gentle forms, while maintaining continuity with the home’s overall design language.
At the heart of the residence lies a serene mandir space, articulated through intricate detailing and soft ambient lighting. Designed as a place of pause and reflection, it integrates seamlessly into the spatial flow of the home.
Throughout the project, attention to detail and craftsmanship play a defining role – from bespoke joinery to curated décor elements. The spatial planning ensures smooth transitions between areas, creating a home that feels both expansive and intimate.
