Software such as BIM 360 covers from the conceptual data to all the steps till the scheduling of the project, even before the construction begins, incorporating different fields in construction such as Architectural, Structural, mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems in one working simultaneously. Virtual Reality is going with a huge beforehand experience of the design in real-time scale, more likely to be understood by the common people rather than just viewing it on a screen, it helps the designers to upgrade as per the design process before construction by saving a lot of time, money, and energy. Artificial intelligence has been booming lately in all creative fields, with keeping that in mind, the designers like us can think of making complete use of such elements by adding value to the project in its specific way without losing the essence of the human brain of creativity. New immersive 3d printing comes into the picture as well, the algorithms of 3d printing value the structural resilience and the material usage in construction, reaching no limit in the design and construction field.

All of this is implemented in the smart cities and buildings optimizing energy consumption and productivity of the project.

Sustainability:

Every country considers sustainability a fundamental element in the construction field, as two-fifths of carbon emissions are produced from buildings alone. Strategic decision on reducing the pollution from the buildings due to climate change effects on the planet right now. Therefore, architects have been keen on the role of improving sustainable structures.

The Net Zero Building is in trend in 10 out of 12 countries, providing no carbon emission and providing the energy required for a functional building by serving good to the environment and by improving better quality for living species. Introducing resilience building as the key architectural solution for climate change is one of the principal issues to be taken care of. In many countries, they are looking forward to implementing sustainability in individual and urban levels for the present and the future. Material consumption in the construction field of present times has reached better innovations for construction techniques and the environment.

Utilization of space, as we see an increase in urban sprawl directly proportional to pollution. Mixed-use buildings play a significant role in the environment, focusing on the architects and urban planners to achieve the goal of better planning with all the constraints. Vertical farming has given a positive note from the scientific side, and the high-rise buildings are considered for a complete community rather than just apartments or businesses, the plan is to work it out for the next generation.

Eco-Friendly Architecture:

In a more technical expression, we could say Biophilia integrates nature into the building, and Biomimicry mimics nature as it is. The leading philosophy of this is reducing waste and recycling space. Biotechnology is used in buildings by incorporating biological elements, for instance, using boi-materials for self-healing of the building or using bioluminescence for the lighting of the structure, incorporating this into the design by looking into materials, efficiency, and energy. It is much in need of the hour due to the repercussions faced by humanity and the planet.

Resilient & Adaptive Reuse:

Architects are focusing on resilience buildings to preserve them from natural calamities considering the climate change affecting the planet in different disasters, and innovations of material for flexibility in architectural solutions.
