An appropriate placement and orientation accentuates their value in a spacious green complex overlooking the Arabian Sea. The base podium provides the solution to meet every need for parking, a shopping mall, health club & spa, restaurants, etc., while upper 30 floors consist of residential suits. There are four different housing types. In addition to the large areas of the judiciously sized lofts and their terraces, that meet the most demanding requirements in terms of space, materials and finishing of various individual apartments, lofts and common spaces of the building of the complex first ensure quality, comfort and durability. A new environment was created here. On the upper levels, a “Sleeping Box” was designed to house each unit in their own cube that were laid to create street-like avenues in the sleeping quarters.

The roof-top, besides having essential building services installed, also have a large matrix of solar panels installed on almost 75% of the terrace area. The energy harvested is being used to feed the common areas of the apartment.

Needless to say that the correct orientation of the building and its openings was an important consideration during the design process (as it helps to reduce the energy demand), the use of perforated metal screens as a second layer over the curtain glazing was intentional- in order to give a playful character and to help control the heat gain and the glare.

Once inside, the guest/resident is carried away by the subtle graphical green landscaped terraces and balconies that stagger amidst the transparencies back to a pleasant atmosphere with a new taste to live. The modernity of the interiors has been taken as an opportunity to create an informal and impressive ambiance. The choice and permutations of various furniture layouts and material selection together with the overall housing solution raises a safe and comfortable oasis for the inhabitants to live in.
