Surrounded by luxuriant greenery, the space is a celebration of uninhibited expression — an eclectic mix of colours, textures, and handcrafted details that transform this elevated nook into a soulful retreat high above the city bustle.

At the heart of the terrace sits a weathered turquoise bench, its patina whispering stories of sun and rain. Dressed with an ensemble of cushions in a riot of hues, patterns, and textures, the bench becomes more than seating — it is a curated canvas of personality. Each cushion is chosen not just for aesthetic appeal but for the character it lends, from vivid block prints to delicate embroidery and whimsical tassels. Across from it, a duo of black wireframe chairs continues the dialogue of playfulness. Their clean silhouettes are offset with bold, tasselled cushions that inject movement and colour, harmonizing effortlessly with the rest of the setting.
Flanking the seating area are two low tables, their hand-painted tops brimming with artisanal charm. Both decorative and functional, they hold everything from evening tea trays to potted succulents, grounding the space with everyday elegance.
Underfoot, a patchwork of patterned tiles sets the tone for a layered, tactile experience. The flooring transitions seamlessly into a floral outdoor rug — subtle yet striking — anchoring the composition and softening the hardscape beneath. This thoughtful interplay of surfaces brings the comfort of the indoors into the open air.
Greenery abounds in curated abundance. Planters spill over with foliage in every direction — climbers reach skyward on the walls, while potted greens line the glass railing, blurring the boundary between nature and nurture. The planting is intuitive, almost organic, with vertical gardens that feel more grown-in than styled, adding a relaxed rhythm to the overall aesthetic.
A carved wooden mirror, aged and ornate, hangs against the rear wall. Its distressed finish adds soulfulness, while the reflective surface visually expands the space and subtly captures the play of light. The neutral tone of the wall allows the bold elements to shine, creating a serene backdrop that doesn’t compete.
Beyond the glass railing, the cityscape stretches into a distant shimmer, the skyline softened by a faint silhouette of hills — a final, grounding reminder of the beauty that lies just beyond.
