In one space, a sweeping marble staircase rises against a textured wall carved with rhythmic vertical grooves and geometric stone inlays. Natural light pours in through full-height glazing, revealing subtle variations in the stone throughout the day. The restrained palette allows the richness of the materials and the precision of detailing to take precedence, creating a composition that feels timeless rather than decorative.
Another space interprets the staircase as the centrepiece of a dramatic double-height living space. Floating marble treads, framed by slender metal railings and clear glass balustrades, appear almost weightless.
