The MJG Group has brought its teams together in a new shared headquarters located on Wujka 9 Street in Poznań. The interior, envisioned by mode:lina™, reflects the identity and values of the group while creating a unified workplace for Index Food, Vininova, and several other MJG brands.
The project forms a multifunctional hub where collaboration, communication, and daily workflow naturally connect. As noted by Joanna Grzemska, CEO of MJG Group, the new office was conceived as a place where different personalities and skill sets can meet and grow together – a physical expression of the family-driven culture that shapes the company.
Italian heritage as the foundation of the design concept
The design team grounded the concept in the long-standing fascination the Gruszka family has with Italian lifestyle and aesthetics. Rather than replicating traditional motifs, mode:lina™ translated this affinity into a contemporary architectural language. Katarzyna Majewska-Kremska explains that the design aimed to capture the qualities they associate most with Italy: clarity, openness, and care for well-crafted materials. These ideas are expressed through soft, warm tones, gentle curves, and the recurring use of arches.

Material palette and atmosphere
The interiors rely on a carefully curated palette: olive hues that flow across ceilings and walls, contrasted with accents of deep red. Dark timber, natural stone, and tailored carpentry elements build a sense of lasting quality. This approach results in interiors that feel both grounded and refined, with a calm atmosphere that aligns with the group’s values and work culture.
A significant part of the project is the integration of a private art collection, which adds a personal layer to the space and reflects the owners’ dedication to culture and craftsmanship.

Spatial strategy
mode:lina™ shaped the layout to accommodate various working modes. Shared areas encourage teamwork and cross-company interaction, while quieter, enclosed spaces support focus and concentration. Abundant daylight, acoustic comfort, and durable materials further enhance the usability of the space.
Patryk Lewiński, responsible for project coordination, highlights the importance of seamless cooperation with technical teams, which ensured that the built outcome faithfully represents the studio’s intentions.

Designed for flexibility and future growth, the new MJG Headquarters embodies mode:lina™’s core principles of co:working, co:creating, and co:experiencing – translated into a workplace that feels coherent, welcoming, and distinctly personal.
