Revery’s vision of transforming a primarily utilitarian building into an active and engaging public space is unmatched.
The roof of the structure is made up of a FIFA-size soccer pitch for the SAIT Trojans to play on. The roof-top pitch assists in stormwater retention strategies for the structure. The concern for providing natural lighting and ventilation for this 1,100-stall parkade led them to design a facade with perforations to allow the penetration of sunlight creating a stunning outer appearance as well.
12. Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater
Location: Washington, DC Type: Cultural, Performing Arts Area: 200,000 sq. ft. Status: Completed in 2010
This 2010 project of expanding and restoring two existing theaters from the 1960s incorporates advanced technology for refining and upgrading the experience of performing arts.
The individual characters of the existing theaters have not been compromised upon, but an addition of a new 200-seat theater was made. The three theatres have now been experientially linked with intermediate program spaces. Revery worked on the landscape in the previously unused pieces of exterior spaces. These spaces have now taken shape of pockets for social interaction and gathering which suffices the owner’s vision of having a ‘true cultural centre.’

The Squamish Nation has partnered with private developer – Westbank for the development of a 6000-unit mixed-use residential project on Vancouver’s False Creek waterfront. Revery has collaborated in this milestone of a project to remodel the skyline of the False Creek waterfront.
The project’s main aim is to develop a program with low-impact carbon footprint utilising the rich, natural elements of land and sea crucial in indegenous culture, as it will be a breakthrough project for indegenous economic development.
14. The Hong Kong Jockey Club University of Chicago Academic Complex
Location: Hong Kong, China Type: Academic, Heritage, Cultural Area: 52,000 sq. ft. Status: Completed in 2018 (Awarded through a design competition)
This 2018 institutional project by Revery Architecture was awarded a prestigious Prix Versailles as one of the world’s most beautiful campuses. The structure is beautifully modelled on its steep and challenging topography. The site also possesses historical significance as it once served as a military facility . These two criteria are what have inspired the architecture of the building.
15. Museum of Chinese Art and Culture At Robson Square | Revery Architecture
Location: Vancouver, BC Type: Museum, Cultural, Civic Area: 65,000 sq. ft. Status: Conceptual Design
The Museum of Chinese Art and Culture was a conceptual design approach commissioned by China Global: The Vancouver Society for Promotion of Chinese Art and Culture. The motive of the client behind the project was to promote the global importance of Chinese Art and Culture.
The design program included the revitalization of Robson Square and its surroundings and incorporating building programs like – galleries, retail, administration, and restaurants.
Into all things creative, Sharadhi channelizes her emotions through her art – design, writing, painting, and cooking. Being an architect by profession, she is intrigued by ‘attention to details’ and seeks perfection. Experimental yet a conformist. In the quest of finding her purpose.
