Based in Strasbourg, AA+ Atelier d’Architecture is a European Firm primarily focusing on residential projects. Co-managed by Baptiste Evellin, Gregory Christ, and Sylvain Eiselle, it is not a very old firm; founded in a city with flavors of both Germany and France, its location is unique since Strasbourg has its own historic legacy to boast about. Working in a team of 11, the combined efforts of all the members of the AA+ Architects have already led them to win International competitions! Not only are they active in the professional field, but they are also known for organizing several workshops in Europe under the omnipresent guidance of its skillful members.

1. Housing in Reichstett | AA + Architects

This development operation, located in the eco-district of Reichstett, the inner suburbs of the Strasbourg metropolitan area, is part of a very ambitious environmental and sustainable development approach, notably with exemplary actions in terms of their level of energy performance. Falling under the Municipality of Reichstett, the 19 housing units project is a big project for AA+ because of the design challenges and innovations associated with the program.

2. Housing in Mittelhausbergen

This housing project accommodates 21 units with around 1300 square meters of floor area. Located at the foot of the Hausbergen hill, the design showcases the use of a gable roof in a modern way with modern materials while the vibrant landscape flaunts the architect’s love for nature.

3. Housing in Dorlisheim

Located in Dorlisheim which is known for its famous vineyards in France, this housing project was a challenge keeping in mind the beauty this region already boasts about. With only 1.490 square meters of floor area and exotically decorated with brise-soleils, the project provides accommodation to 25 providing beautiful walkways cutting between the lush green landscapes.

4. The Naturèales

Located in Mundolsheim, the Naturèales is a charming residence surrounded by generous green spaces, made up of 3 small buildings of 10-16 units with numerous parking lots. Ideally decorated by generous balconies and beautiful attic terraces, the architects have made the residence energy efficient using geothermal heating mechanisms and benefiting from a passive level of energy performance.

5. Iroko, Saint Louis | AA + Architects

The architects of Atelier d’Architecture have designed ‘a residence in which energy consumption is reduced for a habitat that fits serenely into the future.’ Located in Saint Louis, the land of three borders, where nature intertwines with the local urban fabric in its wholesome peaceful setting, the design of Iroko is inspired by the African tree with miraculous properties – ‘a design that reinterprets the history of the place by infusing it into this new residence’.

Providing around 230 accommodations, this proposed residence is in Strasbourg and the design stands out because of its differential massing yet integrating an overwhelming number of units in a cluster.

With only 20 accommodations, Claridge is an exceptionally beautiful upscale apartment nestled in Thann, the most beautiful district of the city. With large terraces and beautiful high-end interiors, the residence flaunts its top-notch services and shows how different it is from any other residential project.

Located on a hill in the dynamic and rich district of Guentrange, Thionville, Elypsia residence has 27 apartments from around 36 to 68 square meters. With architecture as original as this, its elegance and charm are unparalleled – the undulating curves on the facade embellished with landscaped green spaces form an integral part of the design where harmony can be savored inside and out!

14. 336 Av. De Colmar

Featuring garden views, with only 2.5 square meters of floor area, this residence located in Strasbourg accommodates 43 families. Broad windows and open decks bring in harmony with the surrounding landscape while the use of a gable roof with heated floors provides the perfect blend of modern technologies with the historic legacy of the region!

15. Louis Chalets | AA + Architects

Nestled in Le Baume, Louis chalets have seven individual chalets and three collective chalets. Centrally located in the village, the idyllic setting is equipped for relaxation and enjoying nature. Individual parking facilities with modern amenities showcases the perfect blend of nature within architecture.
