Inside, guests can observe artisanal bakers at work while enjoying the bar, bakeshop, and dining areas. The expansive 250-seat outdoor pavilion transforms a former parking lot into a lush beer garden sheltered by mature live oaks. A convenient drive-thru coffee bar completes the public-facing amenities.
Behind the scenes, a commercial bakery produces bread and pastries for many of Austin’s top restaurants. The design intentionally reveals typically hidden production processes—from bread baking to pastry making and charcuterie preparation—creating an engaging backdrop that enriches the dining experience.
This project demonstrates how thoughtful architectural intervention can breathe new life into ordinary commercial spaces, creating a distinctive gathering place that celebrates both food craftsmanship and Austin’s indoor-outdoor lifestyle.
