On a scale of one to a thousand, how good are you at drawings? If you grow up along with competitions and survival how do you visualize yourself in the future? Students strive so hard so they could get to a good college or university. Studying seriously so they could get that grade to deserve that recognition. But how do they live with all the expectations and stares? Despite the competition, the curricular activities, the pressure to cope up with the system, the peer pressure, and the questions of how are you gonna be or who are you gonna be in the later years, a lot of students still managed to live freely and build a life. Well, start from having goals and never-ending dreams in this fast pacing modern world we are living in. You might get lucky as soon as you graduate or wait another two years for an apprenticeship before you can finally start to get that wheel moving towards one of your goals of being a registered and licensed architect.

Blazing Soul Under The Glazing Heat - Sheet1

Remember how you started this goal and then when you are halfway done you suddenly want to sit down and assess everything. Suddenly you just wanted to stop because you are so tired and things are just being repetitive and you are losing your will to continue. But then you are gonna realize, you don’t see yourself somewhere else other than this place. All the pain and the embarrassment you cannot let it just go to waste because above anything else your goals are your supplements to keep you going. Even under the blazing heat, even under the painful criticism or glazing stares. Life can be funny and a headache but always remember that we have someone above who watches us and always makes sure that we can survive all the trials and goals we need to achieve. He is always there even if we don’t see him, he is always there to make sure we are not lost.

It is okay to be tired and to ask to breathe. You can’t just let yourself rot while your mind is rejecting it anymore. Your mental health is one of your supporting core that you have to take care of. See some friends, talk to them. Don’t deprive yourself of things that could help you grow and get some peace of mind. To keep those goals going, your health is the most important. When you are at work talk to the workers and make sure you are friendly enough to make them and you comfortable. You might be knowledgeable in technical factors because you have that education earned from an expensive school/university but the experience is the most effective teacher in life. Those construction workers have been making a living in the field longer than you ever know. Just like you, they have goals too, probably not fancier than yours but they are one of the buttresses of the architect profession to grow more and learn more. They have been under the blazing sky and making their living.

We are currently facing a threat in our profession due to the illegal practitioners but show them why you are above the hierarchy in the design profession. We all have our sorrows but we have to protect our profession, we have a different field profession for a reason because each service has different goals. Just like when you were a student, you are under a different program from your high school friends because you guys have different goals that you wanted to achieve. The first decision you ever make without telling your parents or the places you have gone to without asking for permission. You might remember not wanting to be part of the role-playing in English fest in college but you have to. You might remember not wanting to go to school because you keep crying from being away from home for too long. You might remember being too shy, being too silent, or being too fragile from making friends the first day you go to school. You might remember the first time you spoke your name to introduce yourself to a room full of strangers. You might laugh remembering the moments that made you who you are today. As you go forward straight and fast on your goals you might want to take a sit as you watch your life on replay remembering all the things you have lost and all the things you have gained during the last twenty years.
