Altura Residence is a building located in one of the main junctions of Tirana, on the New Boulevard, near the proposed city park. An essential element in the planning of the building is the consideration of the surroundings, mainly referring to the park and public spaces, which are treated as an integral part of the building.

The building is divided into service functions on the first three floors and one on the eleventh floor, and residential functions on the other floors. Due to having two main volumetric shapes, plans have been generated with different typologies depending on the floors.
Each apartment has balconies and flexible interior spaces that can be easily converted and personalized by the user. The building is designed in such a way that the blocks of stairs have common balconies to strengthen interactions between users.
The facade of the building has two layers, where the first one reflects the internal organization of the apartments through the opening of the windows, while the second layer is a rectangular grid repeated throughout the perimeter of the building visually unifying it throughout its height. The only floors that make an exception from this grid are the first three floors. They also consist of two layer, in which the first is a continuous glass facade, while the second is a colonnade with concrete arches which creates a common architectural language for all the service floors.
