A user focused design approach based on engaging the user, resulted in a thriving energetic destination.

The employment of syncopated aluminium fins from the roof glazing and mirroring of the upper walls, created spatial drama that inspires the senses of the user.

A cluster of box frames combined with paving inserts, and integrated artwork, results in an intimate, and granular alley which is resonant with the Melbourne DNA.

Despite the pandemic, Melbourne Central is leading the way in contemporary retail centres, and ELLA South adds a greater richness and layering to the urban tapestry of the centre.
