The apartment where our customers used to live had high ceilings. In the new apartment, the ceilings were initially not high. At the same time, in the nursery, bedroom and living room, a load-bearing beam was visible along the long side. She did not advantageously emphasize the geometry of the room, in order to hide it, we built up the wall and made niches in the living room and bedroom that zoned the space.

In the living room it is a niche for the sofa, in the bedroom the sewn part is a continuation of the head of the bed. In the children’s room, we increased the depth of the beam with a box and made built-in shelving. To prevent the ceilings from looking low, we increased the height of the openings and installed high interior doors. Also in two rooms the ceilings and cornices were painted in the same color as the walls. A feature of the layout was that all the windows overlooked 2 balconies. Which united the nursery and the bedroom, the hall and the kitchen. In order to have more light in the apartment, we removed the window blocks and thereby increased the window openings. In order to divide the loggia between the nursery and the bedroom, we made the loggia into 2 parts with a double door with frosted glazing. On one side, a recreation area for the daughter was organized, there was a couch where you can relax or hold a pajama party, and on the other side of the loggia there is a bright office for mom, in the form of a hanging table and shelves with hidden mounts.

The wall between the bedroom and the nursery was placed in such a way that a wardrobe could not fit on either side. It was decided to demolish this wall, erect a new, complex shape, so that wardrobes could be arranged on both sides.
