Achitecture:

The interaction of various materials and forms became the key project characteristic. The volumes of the house create a multidimensional game of light and shadow. The stone and brick involved in complex geometry are subordinate to the common spatial logic.

In their turn, the wood and brick serve in symbiosis and create the materially structural composition of the house. The dynamic location of volumes allows you to soften strict architectural lines liven up the facade. We arranged the internal green patios between the volumes. An atmosphere of warmth and coziness was created owing to the outdoor wooden structures in the house interiors.

Interior:

The main idea of the interior is to create a comfortable timeless area, that does not lose significance. The architecture here is primary, which sets the dynamics for the entire interior, that is why we decided to extend the brick from the exterior to the interior. The elements of wood-frame construction look the same both outside and inside. The diverseness and dynamics of the internal house volumes create a complicated chiaroscuro in the interior. The auxiliary rooms of the bedrooms and bathrooms have more uncomplicated and traditional space geometry.

Landscape:

Smooth, strict lines of architecture softened by the dynamics of the brick and wooden volumes locations, forming open areas for landscaping, vitalizing the facade. The color range of plants is assigned a secondary passive role: all kinds of shades of green, bluish-blue, silver-gray. A similar choice of colors serves as a decoration and support an idea of architecture. Silhouette and form are more important than color. A complicated artificial landform frames the entire composition and creates a play of light and shadow, the dynamics of the compositional image of the garden. Plants are planted from the edge to the center in descending order, creating a deep natural funnel in which the house buried. The visual effect is not in the contradiction of the color palette, but the contrast of different forms of plant inflorescences. Planted multilevel plants form a dense volumetric composition in which each component differs from the neighboring one in texture, leaf shape, volume, etc. We preferred perennial grasses, flimsy cereals, conifers, and unpretentious flowers, the aesthetics of which lasts all year round. We divided the garden into several zones, each of which has its architectural form, made according to the house style: a lounge area in the orchard, a movie viewing area, a playground, entrance halls.
