Location: Novosibirsk city, LCD Lane Bulvarny Footage: 108.9 m2 What were the advantages and disadvantages of the original? What did you see when you came to the project? The developer probably considers the combined kitchen and living room to be a virtue, but not in this case, or rather not for these tenants. Our task was to make them isolated. All other walls remained untouched. In general, the initial layout was successful and suited my client. Who was the interior designed for? What can we say about customers? What wishes did they express at the first meeting?

A married couple with an adult daughter who lives separately. At the first meeting, the client spoke about his sympathy for natural stone, about the fact that he always wanted a white marble floor, about the sensations that this material gives him. In this project, the stone is in every room, on the floor, in the furniture. We tried to apply the material carefully in order to preserve the comfort of the living space. This shade of the floor gives freshness, purity in the perception of the interior, which is important for the client. Much in terms of some individual preferences became clear already on the way to implementation. With each step, I understood the essence better and adjusted the project according to my feelings about those for whom this house is. It seems to me that the client himself opened up to me more deeply and, among other things, understood his needs better, so that he could already formulate them. Very reverent participation at all stages of repair. Wishes took on a concrete form in the process, it is always some kind of logic in which there is a whole chain of factors influencing decision-making. An interesting point. I learn a huge amount of significant information about clients not from technical specifications, but “in the fields”.

This is a great individual work. Where there is a place to be CO-AUTHORITY or co-creation. And that’s great. With my help, their wishes received a functional and graphic expression. I consider this attitude very important and I support it if the customer has a desire to be so closely involved in the repair process. It is also important to keep the concept and an objective understanding of where we are going. But this is my mission. After all, then each, literally jointly worn detail, has its history, and history fills the house with meaning. And it seems to me that thanks to this format, a person loves and appreciates his home even more. Have you done any remodeling? What rooms have been created? The living room is separated into a separate room. 3 bathrooms, two of which are used for domestic purposes. In the guest bathroom, closest to the entrance there is a marble countertop, but the kitchen sink is integrated into it, and it has a convenient depth, size and color. There is also a kitchen faucet in this area. 2 bedrooms. The second bedroom for an adult daughter who studies in another city. Each bedroom has a small dressing room. How would you formulate the main idea of the project? What did you see as your main task? Laconic, clean interior, with a combination of classic elements and a modern approach to decoration, which give a feeling of stability, lightness and comfort. The style solution of the interior corresponds to the architectural context of the residential complex. Tell us about finishing materials. What solutions do you consider especially successful? The apartment has a good ceiling height. Thanks to high doors, furniture and architectural solutions in decoration, we added monumentality to the apartment, which is characteristic of the style. And light neutral tones filled the apartment with light and air. The materials used were selected anti-vandal, because. there are two cats in the house. Therefore, despite the white marble, the apartment turned out to be very practical in terms of finishing. All furniture is made according to the sketches of the author of the project. Particular attention is paid to low light. It is he who is most often exploited because it is designed for rest and relaxation. All lower light has a warmer temperature.

How did the color palette come about? The main aesthetic and semantic line is the visual cleanliness of the house, the quality of materials and furniture, the absence of unnecessary things and any random decisions that overload the interior as stress factors. All the walls are painted in one calm neutral tone with an emphasis on the shape of objects and details of decoration. Thanks to this, the space of the apartment looks unified, including bathrooms. The accents were furniture, light, live textures of stone and textures in furniture finishing. What were the criteria for choosing furniture? What items do you find most remarkable? Quality, comfort and context. The living room is the only room that was not approved in terms of design until the very height of finishing, many options were made at another stage of the project. And it’s not all.. From some point it became clear that the emphasis would be on subjects. Well, just finishing was already in full swing😅. We just painted the room, we did all the filling already in the process of choosing furniture. The main snag was to the cabinet. The customer wanted something special, but he couldn’t express it, and I didn’t really understand, they went through a bunch of design options for the TV zone. As a result, we settled on the classic solution – a large cabinet plus 2 lamps. The cabinet was designed by me. It features copper decorative elements on the façade that support the copper finish of the shelving opposite. Almost all furniture is made in Russia. The exception was chairs and a bed in the master bedroom. Pendant lamps in the master bedroom are also made to order according to our project. The dining table and console in the hallway are also my own. Customers really appreciate the fact that the house has items created especially for them. Does the project have interesting technological solutions? Slightly not the case

What are you most proud of in this project? What do you consider your biggest success? My client in the process of shooting (although they had already lived there for almost a year at that moment) said: “Anna, I love my house.” Happiness to hear this, and certainly good luck to feel the materiality of their work, their usefulness. Good luck and the fact that with each object I increase my expertise not only in terms of creativity and experience, but also in terms of communication with people. It is also a great fortune that clients come into my life who help to realize my own request for growth. Recall some funny episode when working on a project: it is important for us to entertain the reader. 11. List the brands used in the project.
