The client’s brief for this project was as simple as it was deeply intentional. To create a space that feels modern and homely, with a touch of muted tones. This colour palette introduced a sense of freshness that gently permeates the interiors as one walks in.

Designing this home was a deeply personal experience for the clients. It was an opportunity to go beyond functionality and create something that truly reflected their way of living.
From the outset, they were sure of their priorities, they wanted a home that would stand the test of time, not follow fleeting trends. The process was collaborative, guided by the steady vision of the team. They envisioned a space that could evolve with them over time, particularly when designing their daughter’s room. Rather than creating a typical child’s bedroom, they chose to design a space that would grow with her. This forward-thinking approach gave the home a timeless quality.
The entire design process, from concept to execution, was smooth and well-aligned with their expectations. Perhaps the greatest compliment the clients could give was how closely the final design matched the 3D visualizations they had been shown.
A Story Told in Quiet Details
Let’s step into a home that feels calm and composed. Tatvamasi focuses on something more personal- crafting a sanctuary of quiet elegance.
The visual language is subdued, almost meditative. But look closer, and the space begins to reveal a gentle playfulness. Grooved MDF panels wrap the walls, with a rhythmic interplay of lines and grid patterns that shift subtly as you move.
A slender MS partition with wooden shelves lightly divides without disrupting. It floats between spaces, its presence almost imperceptible. It stands as a thoughtful pause in the otherwise open layout, offering storage, softness, and structure equally.
Despite the home’s linear concept, the architects weren’t afraid to bend the rules. Curves and circular elements are introduced in quiet confidence. Most notably, the gracefully placed arches that envelop and transition, adding a hint of charm as one enters.
Lighting is handled with the same delicate restraint. There’s no automation, but a thoughtful layering of warm white cove lights and natural daylight creates a dynamic mood across the day. Light bounces gently off curtains and textures, shifting the atmosphere from lively to cinematic.
