The clients, founders of a large IT-company, turned to us after they saw one of our TV-projects. Initially, the apartment was handed over by the developer in “white box” condition – when there were partitions, electrical wiring, internal air conditioning units installed, besides, the customers had already managed to buy some furniture (kitchen, sofa, kitchen island).

All this imposed certain limitations in the design process, we even doubted for some time whether we could do something interesting in these conditions and whether it was worth taking the project to work.
But we were impressed by the customers’ willingness to experiment and commitment to a strict modern aesthetic. And we were not sorry – the project turned out to be successful both in terms of realization and interesting design solutions.
Strict minimalist interior looks especially cinematic in overcast weather, when the whole range of its gray palette is revealed. To someone such a “Scandinavian” character may seem cold, but only to those who have never encountered it. The textures of the textiles, the soft warm light, the muted shades only enhance the effect that you are in your own quiet corner, in your own home, and only watching life behind the glass from the outside.
A completely unforgettable experience occurs at the moment of low cloudiness, when you can see absolutely nothing outside the window – only homogeneous white “milk”, more like a huge light box. You begin to feel like one of the heroes of a sci-fi movie, hurtling through space and time in the body of a huge spaceship.
