The design process, despite geographical challenges, was enhanced by modern technology, allowing for smooth communication through video calls and messaging. Nestled within The Ark Voyage, the home greets visitors with a lively entrance lobby painted in warm scarlet, setting an inviting tone for the spaces within.
As you enter the living room, a calming atmosphere envelops you, accentuated by indigo walls that promote tranquility. Sunlight floods the area, creating a golden ambiance that fosters peace. The dining space features rustic stone tables adorned with aboriginal art, symbolizing the couple’s Australian influence while celebrating the vibrancy of Indian culture.
The kitchen, designed for Mrs. Pachare’s culinary adventures, showcases elegant Calcutta Lux stone, providing a sophisticated backdrop for her gourmet creations. The entertainment lounge is a standout, bursting with color and showcasing exquisite Rajasthani craftsmanship. Here, a reimagined S.H. Raza masterpiece adds emotional depth, paying homage to the couple’s heritage.
Moving to the study, soft oak furnishings paired with lively lime green accents create an inviting space for both work and relaxation. A vibrant Raza painting, adapted by Alkove-Design, serves as the room’s focal point, exemplifying their dedication to design excellence.
The bedrooms offer the ultimate retreat. The master bedroom, adorned in pastel turquoise, provides a tranquil sanctuary away from the city’s hustle. The son’s room, featuring refreshing mauve tones, also serves as a cozy guest room.
