Audley Court is a spacious two-bedroom apartment located in Mayfair, London. It served as a second home to a family of four and was in desperate need of modernisation. The client approached YAM Studios as they were looking for a contemporary style which was different to the typical “Mayfair” look.

The apartment was fully remodelled to allow for a better layout and use of space. The bathrooms were replanned and refitted and a new lighting scheme was installed throughout to enhance a sense of calmness and comfort in the evenings. The original living room was a very large open space which was difficult to use. An addition of a room divider flanked with large pivot doors allowed to creation of two separate areas which could be closed or opened as needed.

The use of a restrained palette was important in order to achieve a calm and contemporary feel while accents of brass and walnut gave a subtle sense of luxury and warmth. Boffi kitchen and bathrooms as well as Sphere 8 resin floors were used to further enhance the simple lines and sense of quality.

The apartment had a huge transformation which made it much more suitable for twenty-first- century living.
