The restoration of the hydraulic functionality of the Mondine water-pumping system affected by the earthquakes in 2012 led to a functional review of the twentieth-century complex subjugate to monumental restrictions.

It was necessary to introduce new plants, hydraulic defense structures and reorganize the routes both for the operation of the complex and for the tourist use of the landscape.
We had worked in the multidisciplinary team contributing to the definition of the settlement and morphological choices of the new plants in compliance with the pre-existences.
Several specific interventions have been designed by the introduction of recurrent formal and chromatic elements that make it easier to identify the contemporary
interventions.
