As a world market leader Stratasys spearheads the development of new printing technologies in its various labs around the world and collaborates with architects such as Nery Oxman, Zaha Hadid and others.
The new HQ compound, designed by Architect Asaf Lerman in Israel, epitomize the Tech company’s emphasis on community as the foundation for its future growth and development. The 50,000 square meters compound is divided into a series of volumes that are connected by a central Atrium.
The tall apace of the atrium is a hub of activities and circulation that invites the Stratasys staff to connect and exchange ideas in an informal and stimulating environment. Pre-cast units are used as the primary material for the envelope in an intricate pattern of concrete and glass. In the south facing façade the concrete pattern becomes separated from the glass wall to perform as an exterior layer blocking the sun’s energy from overheating the interior.
