Broadway Plaza- Walnut Creek, California
The Broadway plaza of San Francisco bay area is one of the major retail destinations of the city. Along with the Walnut Creek traditional downtown, the Broadway acts as an extension of the grid of streets. The pedastrianised streets and the landscape design features introduced along with the iconic central fountain, create an eclectic environment. The tenant facades and the well placed recreational spaces are what make the otherwise mundane space interesting.
Galleria at Tyler Mall- Riverside, California
The single storied Tyler mall, opened in the year 1970 was re-opened as double storied Galleria at Tyler Mall in 1991. Since its opening, the mall has grown as one of the most prestigious retail hubs of the riverside county. One major feature of Galleria is the spacious food court with patio seating and the numerous fine dining options.
Under the project, two additional components were added to the structure. The “north village” section with a 16 screen AMC theatre set above the retail shops and restaurants of the ground floor, overlooking the festive plazas and walkways. The “south village” introduces a new second entrance to the Macy’s department store. A P.F Chang’s Bistro restaurant was also added as part of the project.
Shadow Ridge- Palm Desert, California
Located in the picturesque palm desert, and with family friendly amenities, the shadow ridge becomes the perfect getaway for a peaceful vacation time. Situated very close to Rancho Mirage, Palm Spring, The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens attraction, the resort sits at a prime tourist location. The 1000 villas by MBH adjoin the famed shadow ridge golf course, and form a scenic outline of a majestic architectural beauty in the wide expanse of greenery that makes it stand out proud. The villas and rooms all face the green golf course and the string of palms margining it. The dusky brown skin with gentle arched openings and bushy landscape all build a cosy atmosphere all around for a laid back family time.
The Village at Petrini Place- San Francisco, California
Owned by Emerald Fund/ Anderson, the cluster of 134 units spread over 331,000 square feet, the village is a mixed use dwelling at the centre of the city. Held highly by the residents, the complex sits in a quiet setting and the units of humble spacing all have well crafted external facades. Pastel shades, gentle sloping roofs and stone paved walkways give character to the village. Wooden half wall fencings mark the boundaries of each unit, and garden benches and flowering plants in large white pots decorate the pathways. All these design elements come together to create an intimate and pleasant residential area within the busy city.
1450 Chapin- Burlingame, California
The original structure was built in 1957 with wood framing and cement plaster being the primary materials of construction. The 2 storied building renovation design was carried out with immense care, with special focus given to seismic upgrades. Re-designed interiors and a new outer skin all abide by the industrial theme that is followed in the new design. The LED lighting of the upper floor is eye-catching and adds colour to the industrial look of the structure. The zebra wood panelling, custom glass railing and chandeliers and stone all add to the aesthetics of this one of a kind office space. Completed in 2015, the project is owned by Dewey Land Company.
