K.art Group has provided fun environments and endless pleasure in their interior design projects for almost two decades. K.art Group is already renowned for delivering modern interior and design solutions across the United Arab Emirates and the Middle East. The firm takes pride in translating client briefs into unique environments and understands that design is not just about aesthetics, but it creates a bond within a space.
Caia is ancient Greek for purity. K.art’s minimalistic design approach highlights the jagged mountain detailing in the café’s overall design. The designers used a soft earthy palette of muted colours affording a welcoming appeal. The naturally bright space is grounded by an impressive stone counter that forms the heart of the café. Table tops, accent decoration and a seemingly floating planter are all in the same stone. Maldivian palms give a pop of colour throughout the café completing the natural theme. K.art artists made silicon moulds of the Hatta mountains and created rock wall panels from glass fibre and reinforced concrete. A local artist completed the post-processing to ensure a natural aesthetic.
The founder of Caia is delighted with the seamless incorporation of the environment, organic principles, culture and attitude into the interior design. He is confident that guests will enjoy visiting Caia with its peaceful mountain vibe. The Boxpark is a well-visited destination with an eclectic mix of smaller brands striving to be different. The neighbourhood boasts a well-balanced mix of dining, boutique fashion and homeware shopping.
