This was an ideal project, where we were the client’s spokesperson from the initial stages to handing over. We supported the client in arriving at their design requirements, find a suitable site of correct location and size. We designed the building layout by understanding the operational needs/wants of the client and converting the same into the interior layout plan and simultaneously designing the Architecture and the building envelope.

With the active involvement through the life cycle of the project, we have a happy and satisfied client who was ensured of what he was going to get from inception. This upfront design closure lead to a lot of flexibility to us and enabled fast closure of decisions, leading from inception to handover (including approvals) in 24 months, in spite of the pandemic.
The design philosophy of the building as well as that of the interiors is that it was to be transparent in its appearance while at the same time show its dominance. This was achieved by choosing very simple geometric forms and open office designs. The façade was envisaged as a simple repetitive geometry and ensured maximum daylight and had all eco-friendly features.
The open offices have exposed ceiling and fully glazed cabins on the perimeter. The whole office is punctuated with break out spaces and encourages people to walk out of their designated spaces and work from more comfortable work options like standing, lounge and even cycling stations. The 120 degree work station had sufficient spacing between the seats and hence, there was practically no impact of the pandemic in the layouts.
The cafeteria floor has an outdoor extension with a roof garden which is a breakout space as well as a all hands meet location. The solar panels on the terrace is positioned in such a way where the space below can be used for leisure or work set within landscape in future.
The client could seamlessly move in and operate from the building even during the pandemic as the design had captured all its needs and had anticipated and mitigated all the usual customer pain points.
