What is meant by “New Revolution”?
Greater Noida is set to pioneer a new wave of technological advancements by introducing dedicated Korean and Japanese industrial cities. This ambitious undertaking will create an ecosystem tailored to India’s next-generation tech workforce, teaming with proficient professionals with a B.Tech in these dynamic sectors. For the aspirants in these fields, the time is ripe to harness your skills and embark on a path filled with promising prospects in two major electronic hubs in the fields of manufacturing, chip designing, semiconductor fabrication, Robotics, AI, camera, etc. This project aims to bolster a technologically advanced society, aligning with government initiatives like ‘Digital India’, ‘Aatma Nirbhar Bharat’, and ‘Make in India’.

Vision
The GNRTP is a result of the combined efforts of the Government of Uttar Pradesh and the Tech firm Innogress to establish a world-class robotics-technology ecosystem in India. By focusing on the development of this ecosystem, the government seeks to facilitate job creation and employment within the semiconductor industry. This initiative aligns with India’s long-term vision of fostering innovation and technological advancement.
The establishment of such an ecosystem not only supports the country’s economic growth but also provides a conducive environment for aspiring engineers to apply their skills and knowledge, contributing to the nation’s technological progress. Through these efforts, the government aims to bolster the prospects for individuals pursuing engineering in these fields, creating a favourable landscape for career opportunities and professional growth.
The project’s structure is designed to support a collaborative environment based on a Multi-Partner Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) model, to encourage participation from various stakeholders, including technology ventures and strategic investors. This approach allows the creation of a co-located manufacturing unit and marketplace for robotics and AI technologies, fostering innovation and commercialization under one roof.

Infrastructure and Facilities
The GNRTP is envisioned to become a nucleus of Robotics and AI Innovation to become the “World’s Knowledge Economy”. The facilities are to be set up on 100 acres of industrial land with the salient features being:
- Center of Excellence (CoE): A dedicated hub for cutting-edge R&D and innovation in Robotics and AI.
- Manufacturing Units: Facilities equipped for the engineering, testing, and assembly of robotic solutions across various industries, split into 14 verticals.
- Robotics Marketplace: A platform to bring together multiple players in the robotics and AI sectors, facilitating collaboration and commercialization of technologies.

The site is located in Greater Noida, NCR, abutting the Yamuna Expressway and the Eastern Peripheral Expressway. The Jewar (Noida) Airport is in proximity to this park. The proximity to the NCR enables access to a vast talent pool, robust infrastructure, and connectivity to major industrial corridors.

Inspirational Design Strategies
- Biophilic and Adaptive Architecture: Nature-inspired forms that support well-being and creativity, enhancing cognitive performance, reducing stress, and creating a vibrant workspace for the users.

2. Flexible and Modular Spatial Planning: Implementing modular construction allows for quick construction and flexible zones that can transform spatial usage as the project demands change.

3. Smart Campus Design: Centrally controlled services (IBMS – Integrated Building Management Systems).

4. Zero Carbon and Net-Positive Design: To opt for Efficient solutions for energy usage, water consumption, construction material, and operation facilities.

Innovative Technologies
- BIM and AI Collaboration: Implementing AI-powered Building Information Modeling (BIM) for predictive design and optimisation of space usage.

2. Smart Materials and Kinetic Facades: Using photochromic, thermochromic, and piezoelectric materials for the façade that react to environmental stimuli, and Kinetic facades that dynamically open/close based on sunlight and air movement, enhancing sustainability and aesthetics.

3. Robo-Walk: Landscape inspired by the concept to showcase prototypes as an open exhibit.
4. Landmark Installation: An iconic installation that becomes the identity of the initiative.
Summing up, the Greater Noida Robotics Technology Park represents a significant stride in India’s journey towards becoming a “Knowledge Economy” through robotics and AI. By fostering innovation, encouraging collaboration, and integrating diverse stakeholders, GNRTP is set to promote technological advancements and economic growth. As the park evolves, it strives to become a beacon of India’s commitment to embracing and leading in the era of intelligent automation. This initiative is a major step towards establishing India as a contender in the league of Global Automation hubs. It stands not only as a symbol of growth aspirations but also as a statement to venture into the era of intelligent automation and digital transformation.
