We spoke with construction expert Gevorg Manusadzhian about the technologies that are becoming key drivers of competitiveness in the industry.

Artificial intelligence helps analyze enormous volumes of information, while responsibility for project quality, construction safety, and protecting the client’s interests remains with the leader.”
Another essential element of modern construction is professional project management. In a highly interconnected environment involving dozens of contractors and other stakeholders, effective coordination serves as the foundation for maintaining project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
Manusadzhian emphasizes that management competence is a decisive factor in the construction industry. Technological capabilities are secondary to the quality of process organization. Therefore, management should be viewed as a strategic resource comparable in importance to capital investment.
The expert also places particular emphasis on digital quality control as a means of increasing transparency within the construction process. Specialized platforms make it possible to monitor project progress and verify compliance with technical documentation. This trend is particularly relevant in the United States, where consumer expectations in the custom housing market are increasingly shifting toward technological sophistication. Buyers expect developers to provide not only visually appealing properties but also high levels of energy efficiency and reliability throughout the entire construction process.
