The new House of Quadri retail and consultation space is a study in understated refinement, shaped by an organic design approach that emphasizes texture, light, and natural materials. Conceived as an intimate gallery, the interior is grounded by bespoke furnishings, including sweeping marble and oak consultation tables paired with plush, sculptural seating.

Expressive lighting elements and artisanal hand-tufted rugs soften the presence of reeded glass partitions and crisply detailed wall paneling. This considered visual language weaves biophilic calm with discreet brand expression, resulting in a serene yet highly considered setting for a tailored, immersive retail experience.

The consultation area immediately communicates the brand’s dedication to restraint and craftsmanship through the use of bespoke detailing and natural materials. At its heart is a custom-designed table that brings together a smooth, elongated oak top with two contrasting bases: a solid cylindrical oak pedestal and a sweeping curved form wrapped in boldly veined white marble. This interplay of materials underscores a sense of considered refinement, echoed in the gently textured backdrop framed with slim wood trim and featuring the ‘House of Quadri’ logo. Carefully selected elements such as the soft boucle chairs, the tall freestanding mirror, and a calming biophilic accent introduce warmth and visual balance. The space is grounded by the desk with a display, while the linear pendant light lends a clean, contemporary presence. Together, these components create an inviting, intimate environment designed for focused, personalized client engagement.

The HOQ store is designed as a serene, gallery-like retail environment. The spatial concept blends modern minimalism with understated richness, creating an atmosphere that feels both intimate and elevated. Fluid forms, sculptural lighting, and thoughtfully layered textures come together to evoke a calm sense of refinement. The layout encourages slow browsing – every display, seating nook, and transition area is curated to offer an immersive, boutique experience that mirrors the brand’s refined identity. The colour palette is intentionally muted, guided by tonal harmony to ensure the jewellery remains the visual focal point. Soft beiges, warm taupes, and natural sand hues establish a calm foundation, layered with creamy whites that enhance the store’s light and airy ambience. Subtle accents of terracotta and deep red, introduced through artwork and select decor elements, bring depth and warmth without disturbing the overall sense of calm. The result is a timeless, neutral palette that supports an elevated yet welcoming brand experience.

The lounge area unfolds as a serene retreat, shaped by tactile richness and biomorphic forms. Anchored by a dramatically textured wall, the space gains a raw, organic backdrop that quietly frames the sleek artwork. A gently curved sofa, upholstered in a soft, tactile fabric, reinforces a sense of ease and fluidity. Beneath it, a custom hand-tufted rug introduces an expressive layer through a flowing, stylized floral pattern in muted reds and neutrals, offering a subtle contrast to the ovoid nesting coffee tables. The presence of a large indoor tree adds a biophilic dimension, reinforcing the design intent to create a calm, refined, and deeply sensory environment. The store features a harmonious mix of natural and contemporary materials to achieve a warm yet polished aesthetic. Marble-clad counters with gentle veining anchor the space with a sense of permanence, while light oak and ash-toned wood add softness and approachability. Fluted wooden panels, curved joinery, and metal accents in brushed black lend a modern edge. Sheer glass partitions framed in slim metal enhance transparency and create visual continuity across zones. Textured walls, plush upholstery, and handcrafted rugs add tactile richness, balancing the clean architectural lines with warmth and comfort.

The design employs contrast and texture to clearly define functional zones while preserving a cohesive visual language. Striking translucent glass partitions with black metal framing act as a bold graphic feature, subtly distinguishing the intimate consultation tables from the main area without compromising light or spatial connection. The entry and lounge areas are anchored by a warm, natural palette, highlighted by wood-slat wall paneling and oak furniture paired with soft, textured upholstery. Thoughtfully curated accent pieces – such as the sculptural drink table, the curved lounge chair, and the slender handcrafted console – introduce depth and artisanal character. Artistic accents, including a customized floral rug and Rothko-inspired abstract artwork on the back wall, add intentional moments of color and expression, ensuring the space feels both refined and distinctly personal.

Designing a second flagship for a repeat client is less about repetition and more about translation. For House of Quadri’s Delhi store, our intent was to carry forward the spatial DNA established in the Mumbai flagship – one that shaped the brand’s physical identity – while allowing it to respond sensitively to a new environmental and cultural context. The design language remains anchored in continuity: a consistent material vocabulary, calibrated proportions, and a restrained yet luxurious palette that reflects the brand’s ethos. However, rather than imposing the Mumbai store verbatim, the Delhi space was reinterpreted through subtle shifts in tone, light, and spatial rhythm – responding to differences in climate and user behavior. This approach allows the brand to feel recognisable yet never static. Each store becomes a chapter of the same story – unified by intent, but shaped by place. For us, maintaining design consistency across cities lies in preserving the philosophy, not the formula.

For a design studio, a repeat client is the highest form of validation. It reflects not just confidence in the aesthetic outcome, but trust in the process, collaboration, and shared vision over time. Our continued association with House of Quadri – from their Mumbai flagship to their Delhi store – speaks to a partnership built on alignment and mutual respect. The Mumbai flagship, which shaped the brand’s physical identity, was published by Design Pataki and nominated for an award by Architects and Interiors India. Carrying that relationship forward into a second store allowed us to deepen the design language while evolving it thoughtfully across contexts – reinforcing the idea that meaningful design grows stronger through continuity.
