The Castelatto Pavilion was built in the company’s industrial complex, located outside the urban area of Atibaia, São Paulo, surrounded by low hills and green areas. The production warehouses occupy a significant part of the land, but there are also preserved green areas and a ciliary forest along the stream that surrounds the property. Between the riparian forest and the warehouses, an area of good proportions was designated for the construction of the Pavilion, due to its representative and institutional purpose.

The building is intended to house exhibition spaces. Initially focused on the showroom for the products of the industry in which it is inserted, the complex also added spaces for art exhibitions.
The uniqueness of this project lies, first of all, in the quality of the spaces, which are large, well-lit, and have courtyards, gardens, and a reflection pool. In addition, the quality of the materials used, with their varied colors and textures, expresses the company’s expertise in the use of architectural concrete.
The project’s distribution highlights the exhibition spaces, which are the essence of the Pavilion. The conception stands out for the desire of a pleasant path – a promenade – from the external access, with squares, galleries, exhibition spaces, auditorium, event spaces, and terraces.
Each space has a well-defined identity, and circulation is continuous, without doors or blockages of any kind, so that the route has the same importance as the spaces themselves. In addition to the main environments, there are also areas dedicated to the infrastructure of the Pavilion’s operation.
As for the materials used, the highlight goes to the metallic structures of the structure and the steel frame of the walls. The use of Architectural Concrete is a striking feature throughout the project, with multiple specifications.
The project began in 2020 and was developed over approximately 6 months. The architectural team provided technical support to the execution of the work, which was concluded in about a year.
