The project is an addition to a building partially realised during the 60th only up to the floor of the foreseen church. The urban context is characterised by the contrast of historical and natural elements and the recent urban fabric including a new square.

The program of the new complex is organised around the Churchyard. Since the difference in level between the public square and the Churchyard did not allow a spatial continuity and in order to minimise the perception of this gap, a curvilinear access ramp has been built.

The materials, chosen to be integrated with the context, are the laminated wood for the church roof and the concrete split blocks for the external walls.
