The accommodation ‘MYCONIAN MYTHODEA’ is the result of the renovation of the “grandfather’s house” in Ano Mera, Mykonos. It started to be built in 1960 and consists of a composition of three white volumes of different heights. For the owners, it was important that the changes did not affect the memories of their childhood.

The dialogue between old and new is carried out by using traditional materials with a new interpretation, such as the combination of tiles in various patterns with pressed cement mortar. The coatings inside and floors are pressed cement mortar in earthy and white shades.
