The residence had remained unsold, prompting developers to seek a fresh perspective capable of revealing its true character. Eight Station responded with a concept that emphasizes light, clarity, and emotion, redefining the space as both contemporary and deeply personal.

A Space Defined by Light and Emotion

Drawing on the abundant daylight from sweeping panoramic windows, the design adopts a subtle, airy palette of natural tones and textures. The restrained aesthetic enhances the apartment’s openness while creating an atmosphere of calm refinement.

The Terrace as a Signature Moment

The expansive terrace, one of the penthouse’s most remarkable features, was envisioned as an elevated outdoor living area. With uninterrupted views of Berlin’s skyline and landmarks, it becomes the emotional centerpiece of the home, seamlessly connecting the interior to the city below.

Sculptural Functionality

Attention to detail defines the interior. In the kitchen, a recessed marble sink and an integrated cooktop sculpted directly into the stone demonstrate the studio’s commitment to precision and form. Every element is intentional, transforming practical features into quiet statements of design.

Contemporary Meets Timeless

A curated selection of iconic modern pieces sits alongside vintage accents, balancing sophistication with warmth. This mix lends the penthouse a sense of authenticity: luxurious, yet comfortably lived-in.

A Home That Resonates

For Eight Station, the goal was more than creating a luxurious environment. The studio sought to design a home that evokes feeling: a space that reflects not only success, but serenity. The result is a residence that feels effortless, bright, and profoundly human.

Situated between the East Side Gallery and Mercedes-Benz Arena, this project marks the completion of one of Berlin’s most vibrant cultural developments. Through Eight Station’s lens, the penthouse re-emerges not merely as property, but as a lifestyle statement.
