“Alchemy of Moments”. Crafted by the visionary, Ar. Nirmala Banaji of Banaji & Associates, this store immerses one in a narrative of time and elegance.

Every element, from material selection to lightning strategy, fixtures and fittings, reinforces the story of alchemy. Designed with luxurious vintage interiors, the space echoes the sophistication of a bygone era while embracing the refinement of modern elegance.
The design begins with a bold entrance with a wooden door and stone wall cladding. A
sculpture on the cladding evokes a sense of ruggedness, curating the vintage look ahead.
Stepping indoors, one is welcomed to a world of fresh and renewed look that honours the
brand’s roots. A vintage wooden table with ornate carved chairs is placed for the guests to
check the collection. Besides, a tufted sofa in brown hues completes the space, further
elevating the vintage look. Captivating wallpapers and unique ceiling designs create a
sensory-rich environment. Another captivating wooden console with a heritage look,
complemented by an ornate mirror and a wall frame, adds to the essence of timeless luxury.
Moving towards the adjacent room, the centerpiece is the show-stopping chandelier- a
sculptural masterpiece in antique gold, featuring cherubic forms holding florally inspired light fixtures. It draws the eye upward and sets the tone for the room’s narrative: classical elegance reimagined. The carved wooden furniture, gilded with intricate detailing, grounds the space with rich texture. The tabletop showcases precious ornaments, reads like a treasure chest; its surroundings enhanced by baroque mirror frames and velvet necklace busts that add depth and drama. The base of the table captures attention with gold sculptures, redefining the concept of vintage decor. Warm wooden doors, stained glass windows, and patterned wallpaper wrap the space in a cocoon of nostalgia and exclusivity.
The next room is a secluded space, designed for private discussions. Vintage sofa sets with
ornate bases and tufted backing add a premium aura to the space. Here, a glass statement
fixture casts a warm glow while a golden frame adorns the walls. The focal point- the
magnificent carved mirror anchors the wall with its elaborate Rococo-inspired frame, echoing a sense of aristocratic elegance. The walnut-toned display cabinet beneath, with marquetry floral motifs and laurel embellishments, exudes warmth and ceremonial richness, acting as a storage and storytelling artefact. Set against patterned wallpaper in dusky golds and soft blush stripes, the room is wrapped in a soft, ornamental rhythm that complements the dazzle of the jewels without overwhelming them.
n essence, this bespoke store harmonises the weight of tradition with the clarity of modern
luxury. Each surface, piece of furniture, and light source is selected to embody Chronos’s ethos, where time-honoured craftsmanship meets bespoke innovation. The result is a richly layered, deeply tactile environment!
