On customers request two original Herman Miller Eames Chairs DSL, designed by Ray & Charles Eames with specifications by Alexander Girard are integrated. Our design, hence, takes up the history of the chairs and combines elements reminiscent of that time in combination with furniture of today.
The Dining Side Chair La Fonda was designed for the New Yorker restaurant La Fonda del Sol in 1961. The interior design of the restaurant was distinguished by the mixture of artifacts and folk art, mixed with modern chairs and tables and bold, colorful writing on the walls. For example, the gallery above the récamiere features paintings reminiscent of Alexander Girards. The design of the light fixtures above the dining table are also from the New York restaurant era.
These design icons combines with contemporary extravagant furniture will create a high recognition value. The colors are chosen harmoniously with a consistent concept. In the overall picture, a unique room design is created, which offers a unique selling point for the high-quality rental compared to competitors.
