This legacy of excellence provided the perfect setting for a restaurant concept rooted in authenticity and storytelling.
The restaurant is strategically located within the hotel’s central hospitality zone—offering easy access to both hotel guests and external visitors. Its layout was designed to maximize flow and visibility while maintaining a distinct identity within the broader hotel architecture. With approximately 420 square meters of internal and semi-external space, Bait Wared benefits from natural daylight, a scenic garden view, and access to adjacent lounges and event areas.

The interior design concept was deeply inspired by Lebanon’s cultural identity and natural landscape, reimagined for a Saudi Arabian audience. From the outset, the goal was to transport diners to a nostalgic Lebanese courtyard, combining rustic warmth, floral richness, and a timeless elegance.
Architectural elements such as stone archways, traditional columns, wooden lattices, and barrel-vaulted ceilings evoke the charm of Lebanese mountain homes and coastal villas. The use of earth-toned textures, handcrafted details, and locally sourced materials helped ground the design in regional sensibilities while paying homage to Lebanese craftsmanship.

Nature played a vital role in shaping the atmosphere. A carefully curated palette of rose pinks, olive greens, and terracotta browns mimics the blooming gardens of Beirut and the rugged terrain of Mount Lebanon. Floral arrangements, wall-mounted planters, and indoor vines were integrated throughout the space to infuse the restaurant with life, fragrance, and a soft ambience. These design gestures were not just decorative—they were symbolic of Lebanese hospitality, where nature is an integral part of everyday life.

The spatial zoning reflected both intimacy and community. Columns and arches framed private dining corners for a more secluded experience, while open dining areas encouraged group gatherings and cultural exchange. The central fireplace—surrounded by decorative logs and traditional tiling—served as a symbolic hearth, anchoring the space in comfort and storytelling.

In essence, Bait Wared is not just a restaurant; it is a cultural experience intricately woven into the hospitality fabric of Algosaibi Hotel. It introduces Lebanese design sensibility to the Saudi context with sensitivity and grace, creating a bridge between two rich cultures. Through thoughtful detailing, natural integration, and architectural homage, the project stands as a tribute to the power of design in preserving and celebrating identity—no matter the geography.
