Finished with white and concrete texture paint and complemented by polished pinewood false ceiling, the elements of the facade remain subtle.

To prevent the surrounding plots from overlooking into the site, the design thoughtfully balances privacy with a bright, airy atmosphere, to ensure light and ventilation are not compromised.
The interesting arrangement of angled walls effectively screen out the outside, preserving the allure of its secret delights while retaining the views of the terrain.
”The most important things are the experience- the rasa, which is the subtle experience of the space that makes the space memorable.” – B.V. Doshi. The quote is true of this residence. Being a ground and first floor structure, it poses as momentous and exudes a significance that belies its size.

The clients envisioned a private home that required minimal upkeep, allowing them to unwind after long workdays without the burden of maintenance. A clutter free home with plenty of open space was what they asked for.
As gracious hosts to a lively circle of friends, they desired a bar counter and a movie projection area. The design cleverly conceals these spaces behind the angular façades, enticing guests to discover it as a delightful secret.

By positioning the mass of the building further back, the design encourages a longer walk to the entrance, enhancing the sense of openness. Such an imposing entrance is equally matched in the interior spaces, which don’t fall short of the openness achieved outside.
A striking double-height window floods the living room with natural light, enhancing the airy atmosphere and inviting the outside in.
The pooja features a floating door that adds a mesmerizing visual element. With its intricate moldings, it becomes the centerpiece of the space.

The kitchen exudes a quiet elegance, featuring sleek lacquered glass cabinets and lustrous quartz countertops. A seating area adds an unexpected touch, inviting relaxation and conversation amidst the culinary hustle.
