Upon entering, the eye is guided by a seamless transition of linear lines manifested in the furniture pieces. In the living room, muted grey and pristine blue sofas coexist harmoniously, flanked by grey and white curtains that stretch along the walls. A long oak wood finish centre table and a tasteful jute rug complete the ensemble, casting a tranquil vibe over the space.
A distinctive touch is added by a fluted grey partition, strategically placed to delineate the living area from the dining space. This not only contributes to the aesthetic appeal but also creates a visual barrier, subtly defining the separate functions of each area.

Architect Bernice’s finesse unfolds in the captivating staircase, adorned with chic white granite and delicate metal railings. Positioned strategically, it seamlessly connects the kitchen, living area, and foyer, becoming a versatile focal point. By day, it transforms into a lively toddlers’ play haven, radiating joy. As the sun sets, it gracefully shifts into an intimate spot for evening chai, merging elegance with functionality. This design not only elevates aesthetics but adapts effortlessly to residents’ diverse needs.
The kitchen boasts a tidy and practical layout, featuring beige cabinets, sleek profile handles, a black granite countertop, and pendant lights above the dining table. The elongated window above the countertop frames a view of lush greenery, creating a balanced and inviting environment for both cooking and relaxation.

The first floor of the residence comprises a private space, hosting the master bedroom on one side of the staircase and the daughter’s bedroom on the other.
The master bedroom emanates a sense of calm, characterized by a minimal yet impactful headboard with fluted details against a king-size bed, separating the walk-in closet from the rest of the room. Interplay of beige and white tones, along with the richness of oak wood and a hint of walnut finish, ties the space together. In contrast, the master toilet diverges from this theme, embracing a palette of blue, white, black, and a touch of grey.
The toddler’s bedroom welcomes a whimsical palette. A white bed snug, against a gentle pink backdrop, entices the child into a cocoon of peaceful slumber and creative exploration. The combination of her favourite colour pink, and the purity of white creates a fluid blend, radiating coziness and solace throughout the bedroom.
In essence, Sukoon – The Home is an exemplar of design, where every element, from colours to textures and spatial arrangements, converges to create an environment that exudes serenity and sophistication.
