For a long time, he shared this home with his parents. In an interview when asked a question about it, he replied “It’s every kid’s dream, to buy their mom and dad a house”. The house was initially a small one on a large corner plot that a developer bought in 2013 and tore it down to replace it with a Spanish architectural style home including four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms along with a pool and spa.

The house was designed and built in 1997, styling with wooden-accented interiors and modern-style stucco. The design takes inspiration from classic California architecture by using elements like beamed, slanted ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and an indoor/outdoor flow. On the ground floor, there are many entertainment spots, including a grand living room with a skylight and a large stone fireplace. A spacious and with multiple seating spaces, dining areas along with the kitchen that has a wood-burning pizza oven and opens up to a deck in the backyard gets an ample amount of natural light in. These spaces fit perfectly as a party place for Michael B. Jordan.
The master bedroom follows the same element and material pallet as the living room of the house. With a high ceiling and sloping roof, a fireplace, and exposed wooden beams, the interior has clean lines, neutral colors, and natural material pallet as preferred by Jordan. There is a master bathroom with a soak-in tub, a walk-in closet, and a balcony through a large sliding glass door that connects with other rooms. Michael B. Jordan has upgraded his residential circumstances with the $12.5 million acquisition of a big and brand-new mansion in L.A.’s popular and ever-more-expensive Encino community. The estate was bought in 2020 after putting his former home on sale. The house is (approx.) 12,300 square feet with eight bedrooms, ten full and four half bathrooms along with other amenities.
The farmhouse-style home has charcoal board and a batten-cladded exterior with a woodsy contemporary living space. The entrance of the house is through a 20-foot-tall wooden front door that pivots and leads you sprawling open space with wood-paneled walls and an indoor waterfall. The house has three floors- the ground floor has entertaining spaces like a living room, kitchen, and dining, and the first floor has all the bedrooms and attached bathrooms. There is a subterranean floor below that has a games room, screening area, gym space, and open to the sky splash pool. A custom-made staircase connects all floors and an elevator.
The color pallet, elements, and experience of the house are very much similar to his previously owned houses. The use of glass partitions between indoors and outdoors has remained constant which links the house with its surrounding nature. Although the exterior and building styles have been different, the indoor characteristic has white walls, minimal straight-lined furniture with neutral colors, with use of wood in spaces to make it cozy, and a hit of stones and marbles to highlight the spaces like a fireplace, kitchen, and dining.
On the ground floor, the wide-open shared living area is decked out with wide-plank hardwood, a two-story ceiling and second-level overlook, slatted hardwood accents, linear fireplace with marble surround. The kitchen has floor-to-ceiling cabinetry which is painted matt black contrasting the white marble counters and wooden furniture. On the above floor, there is a primary suite with two bathrooms and a lavish dressing room along with a fireplace and balcony overlooking the pool area and facing the guest house bedroom balcony.
The basement level has all the leisure and recreation spaces like a lounge and professional bar, a movie theatre, a wine cellar, and a spa treatment room with a wall of windows that slides open to a spa trimmed in white marble-like material. The backyard has a lot of evergreen fake turf, barbeque, and a bar area on the side of the pool. The outdoors has ancillary structures that include a pavilion with a pool house with a bath inside, an open-air poolside lounge, and a two-story guest house.
Jordan’s Hollywood hill house is on sale but he still has the Sherman oak house in his possession where his parents live. All the houses have seen a part of Jordan’s life and with his individual growth, the houses he owned and lived in have changed for good. With luxurious add-ons from one house to the next.
