Amsterdam 75 is a residential building with a preexistence that is located in the Hipódromo neighborhood of Mexico City. In a rectangular site, the intervention consisted of solving five departments of different types and an additional dwelling in the pre-existence – a house of the nineteenth century, cataloged by the National Institute of Fine Arts.

The project was resolved in two large volumes, by way of boxes of apparent concrete, oriented towards the tree-lined avenue to frame the best views towards the context.
The penthhouse is located on the last two levels and has a double height that articulates the public spaces of the house on its two levels.
On the back of the property, the building is tucked into its western façade to generate a series of terraces that give sun protection and take advantage of the views towards the Spain park.
