In this project, INSADA aims for an interior design that mixes the Japanese aesthetic and the Westernrooted tradition of golf clubhouses. The calm, yet bold aesthetic was achieved using a restrained, soft, natural color palette, wood, and natural fiber finishes.
In contrast, rich colors and textures that derive from luxury golf and the sensuous aesthetic of courses embellish the floors as accent area carpets. Anchoring the two sides of the lobby is a backlit decorative wooden screen that emphasizes the verticality of the lobby space.
Stairs bringing guests from the lobby to the mezzanine space are designed to be as light as possible with steel and floating marble thread details – to maintain the view and spaciousness of the lobby. Completing the expression of the lobby is the undulating segmented metal decorative lighting sculpture in the ceiling.
