Arlington Court is a neoclassical style country house in the parish of Arlington, North Devon, England, located near the parish church of St James, 5 14 miles NE of Barnstaple. It’s a listed building with a grade of II*. In the National Register of Historic Parks and Gardens, the park and gardens are rated as Grade II*. Colonel John Palmer Chichester (1769-1823) commissioned the house, which was built on a separate location and demolished in 1790, to the design of North Devon architect Thomas Lee to replace a previous Georgian house planned by John Meadows and erected in 1790. Sir Alexander Palmer Bruce Chichester, 2nd Baronet (1842-1881), son of Sir John Palmer Bruce Chichester, 1st Baronet, extended Arlington Court significantly in 1865.
