Kumamoto is situated on the island of Kyūshū, the southernmost of the four significant Japanese islands, and is the focal point of Kyūshū. This enthusiastic city has a critically recorded legacy. Severe earthquake in April 2016 caused a major harm that constrained the city to reconstruct a decent piece of the structure. It has various historical structures like Kumamoto Castle, that traces back to the seventeenth 100 years, Honmaru Goten Palace, and Kumamoto Prefectural Museum of Art, that shows a combination of European works and Edo-period prints. From May 16 to June 8, 2005, the Japan Foundation in Toronto presented the Kumamoto Artpolis display, a contemporary engineering and metropolitan plan driven by Kumamoto Prefecture starting around 1988.
