The Vitromex and Arko stand at Expo Obra Blanca 2025 reinterprets the idea of home as a space of belonging, connection, and discovery. Conceived as an open house, the project invites visitors to walk through, inhabit, and experience the materials up close and through emotion.

Guided by the premise of feeling at home, Casa Vitromex emerges as an architectural icon that celebrates the essence of both brands and transforms it into experience. Its form is born from the pursuit of emotional connection, security, and familiarity — a trilogy that evokes the most intimate sense of dwelling.
The space is composed of two complementary houses, representing Vitromex and Arko, its premium line, joined by a central corridor that guides visitors through a sequence of atmospheres: lobby, living room, reading area, kitchen, bar, bathroom, and exhibition tables.

Each environment integrates the brand’s porcelain tiles in real-life settings, where materiality, light, and scale reveal their aesthetic and functional qualities. Woodwork adds warmth, while targeted lighting enhances the textures, tones, and depth of every surface.

The facades, defined by wooden latticework and porcelain-clad walls, evoke a contemporary domestic architecture that both conceals and reveals, sparking curiosity and inviting exploration.
The design offers an immersive, playful, and sensory experience that connects with visitors on an emotional level. Despite the challenge of building and assembling the stand in just one week for a three-day exhibition, the result reflects precision, meticulous detail, and an impeccable aesthetic, showcasing the quality and excellence of Mexican design.

After the exhibition, the materials and components will become part of the Vitromex and Arko showroom, extending their life cycle and reaffirming a commitment to responsible and sustainable design.

Ephemeral encounters like Expo Obra Blanca are vital for strengthening the creative community—they foster collaboration, drive innovation, and keep the conversation on the future of architecture and design alive in Mexico.
