Villa Omah Prana is a circular residence set in the highlands of Payangan. Its concept stems from a single, decisive idea: a ring-shaped plan that places every room along the perimeter, orienting the house towards nature.

The living room opens both to the courtyard and to the wider landscape, creating a seamless flow, while the private areas — the bedrooms and enclosed spaces — remain climatized and protected.

The project is organized around one exact center point. Concentric circles define the architecture, the pool, the circulation, and a number of built-in elements. This shared focal point brings a quiet sense of order, as if the geometry were a ripple expanding from one moment of impact — clear, legible, and consistent.

Its materiality draws inspiration from Bali’s weaving traditions. Herringbone brickwork, interlaced wall textures, and refined geometric patterns reinterpret local craft in a contemporary language. These tactile details invite close appreciation while keeping the overall architecture calm and grounding.

A cinematic spirit threads through the design. Some of its curvature and atmosphere reference early Ken Adam sketches for Moonraker — particularly the clarity of a bold geometric move and the choreography of space without theatrical excess. This aligns closely with my approach: simple ideas made memorable through crafted surfaces and detail.

Villa Omah Prana is shaped by a single conceptual gesture, enriched through materiality and craftsmanship, and quietly open to the surrounding landscape.
