Thiny beach apartment right on the Elbe beach in the city of Hamburg. The apartment was built in the 1970s. We got the order for a complete revitalization including a lighting concept. The two room apartment opens to the beach with large windows. The center of the apartment east is the large eat-in kitchen.

We have given the 70s apartment a new look in our elegant industrial style. The dividing wall to the kitchen was mirrored so that the view of the water can be reflected in the wall. The white wall paneling covers the wall in the golden section and reflects this, so that there is a 1/3 to 2/3 optical extension.

A black and white theme was used as the basis for the interior design. The white surfaces, room-high doors and the floor are in matt white oak. The black surfaces are in matt black, as an elegant element, the eat-in kitchen is framed in high-gloss rosewood.

Opposite the eat-in kitchen, Andras Koos breaks up the black and white concept with a wall in HERMES Orange. In the bathroom and bedroom, the matte black is replaced by walls of floor to ceiling polished black marble.

The industrial-style glass doors contrast with the classic wall lights and the ceiling chandelier. These eclectic breaks are a specialty of Andras Koods AID studio. So this beach apartment gets the right mix of classic style and modern designed by Andras Koos.
