This couple with two young children asked us to renovate their West Hampstead home. The brief called for an adaptable space at entrance level that would allow for use as a study, living room, hosting of occasional large gatherings as well as accommodating the visits of elderly family members.

Scenario responded by opening out the space at this level while maintaining the option to close off the front or back of the house as required.

This was achieved via the installation of full height folding screens nested into the guest bathroom pod. This element gives some division to the spaces while also allowing the front study to be used as an en suite guest room.

Other interventions include reconfiguration and fit out of the Master Bath and Dressing, opening up of the stairwell to link the main living spaces on the ground floor to the kitchen and dining below and complete refurbishment at this lower level including the rear garden.
